RADIOactivity REport from May 31, 2008

As the city recovered from tornados and damaging winds from the night before, RADIOactivity, a fundraiser for WITT, helped Indy close out May 2008.

More than 150 paying customers attended the day long festivities at Locals Only. Special thanks to the Independent Band Collective, Locals Only, NUVO Newsweekly and all of the bands and DJ's for playing great sets. Pix to the left are some of the many who performed.

Many $ were raised for the station's launch and we made new friends while seeing some familiar faces as well. Thanks to all who attended.

By the way, we recorded much of the show and hope to broadcast it as soon as we're on air!

**MANY THANKS TO NUVO, INDY.COM, THE BROAD RIPPLE GAZETTE AND OTHER LOCAL MEDIA FOR THEIR CONTINUED SUPPORT!**

yes yes we will finally put something in the mystery
box. very very soon.

It took nearly 15 years, but the wait was worth it. City Radio is now officially off the ground and headed for the airwaves, following the issuance by the FCC of a Construction Permit for 91.9 FM on May 30, 2007.

WITT FM will serve a large portion of the Indianapolis metropolitan area from our tower location in Boone County. We are a full power FM operating at 6,000 watts.

WITT is a non commercial public station with a broadcast license similar to that of WFYI 90.1 and WICR 88.7. The main difference: WITT will be programmed and managed primarily by community volunteers.
